2006 Orlando Predators

1998 and 2000 AFL World Champions

The Preds 1st touchdown of 2006, Hamilton to Fryzel!

The Preds at work against the Force.

Always a great sight!

The Predators (and me) at ArenaBowl XX in Las Vegas.

My 2
Rush Defeat Preds For ArenaBowl XX Title 69 - 61
Preds K Jay Taylor, arguably the best kicker in Predator history, had a rare bad day on Sunday, missing 2 field goals and 2 extra points in what would be an off day for the whole team. Defensively, the Predators occasionally got pressure on Rush QB D'Orazio and got a couple of stops, but otherwise never seemed to be in the right places at the right times. Turnovers also added insult to injury as WR Jerrian James fumbled a completed pass and the 2nd half kickoff ended up in Chicago hands on an off-the-iron bounce that DeAndrew Rubin couldn't handle. One bright spot during the game was the flawless play of backup QB Jake Eaton, who came into the game after QB Joe Hamilton's right shoulder was hurt and found OS Jimmy Fryzel in the endzone to cap off a 4 for 4 passing drive. WR Javarus Dudley had a great performance with 10 receptions for 117 yards and 4 touchdowns and is honored as WolfMarks Most Valuable Predator of ArenaBowl XX. Congratulations to the Chicago Rush, whom many people felt shouldn't have been in the playoffs at all with a sub .500 regular season at 7 - 9, for winning 4 consecutive road playoff games to become Arena Football's 2006 World Champions.

You might have noticed that I have begun some prognostication and ratings below. I am using an algorithm I found to determine the relative team rating, and then from that determining a spread for the next games. An average team would have a relative team rating of 0. Basically it's just something I'm playing around with and learning from, so don't take it too seriously.
